Marc Luickx
The person behind this smile is the founder of Idol Hair, the very talented and nurturing hairdresser. Originally from Brugge, Marc moved to North London some 35 years ago but fell in love with East London in the 90s. Here he settled and created this little salon and soon became very successful with his trusted team. His clients still follow him from all over London, and many are long term close friends that have been supporting him all the way. Marc is also the proud interior designer of the new Idol Hair salon now. We are waiting to see where the next creative project will take him.

Co-owner/Senior stylist
Greta Belardi
Greta grew up in her father’s hairsalon in Milan, and after a journey through the arts and service industry, eventually arrived in London wanting to take the leap into hairdressing. Two decades and a family later, she is now the co-owner of Idol and an experienced hairstilyst. Passionate as ever about haircutting and colouring (restoring and painting hair), she helps create content for our social media between a bite and mixing colours.
Senior Stylist
Christina Weisleitner
Christina is the unique piece, you will not find anyone like her. She sings opera, knits, paint, practises face yoga and walks miles whenever and wherever nature and dogsitting takes her. She has been with Idol Hair since day one and has known Marc since before it all started in Victoria Park. Christina still inspires everyone with her energy, multi-skills, and enthusiasm for hairstyling, colouring and life.
Senior Stylist
Carly Steel
Carly is an all around experienced hairstylist that pays a particular attention when we talk haircolouring, her biggest passion. Oh yes, she dreams about your colour formula! She has been around Idol Hair, at different stages of her life, firstly as a very young client, then as a keen junior and eventually as a succesfull and confident stylist. Carly has also been busy with her brother Ricky in the making of an ethical, green company called Friendly Turtle. The environment, wellbeing and health have always been close to her heart. Last but not the least she is a loving mum of two.
Receptionist
Stephan Liew
When not busy baking his masterpiece cakes, Stef is the professional voice on the phone taking appointments neverthless ... an individual with many disguises of fun, cheek, sarcasm, and best hair wash and head massage in town.
If you see him face down at reception (apologies)…he is updating his social media, Stef is nowadays a professional baker and influencer for the baking industry.
